On 30 April, in the framework of ENEMO's EOM to the 2024 Municipal Elections in Hungary, Head of Mission Mr. Pierre Peytier and Media Analyst Ms. Teodora Gilic met with representatives from Mertek Media Monitor, Dr. Agnes Urban and Dr. Gabor Polyak.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the media environment ahead of the elections, as well as challenges faced by independent media outlets and journalists. The mission also asked representatives of Mertek Media Monitor about issues related to disinformation, media bias, national and local media consumption, and media oversight in these elections.
