ENEMO organized the 2022 General Assembly (GA) of ENEMO, which was held from 26th to 29th May in Petrovac, Montenegro.
Among other topics, during the first day the GA analyzed the work of the ENEMO Secretariat and Secretary General elected in 2017 in Tbilisi. Following changes to the Constitutional Protocol and renaming the position of Secretary General to President of ENEMO and Secretariat to Governing board of ENEMO, on the third day of the GA the new President of ENEMO and members of the Governing board were elected.
The General Assembly also voted on membership of new organizations and status of current member organizations. Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA), Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU) and Coalition for Democracy and Civil Society (CDCS) became full members, while Election Monitoring and Democratic Studies Center (EMDS) was elected as honorary member of ENEMO.
The last day of the GA were an opportunity to present the strategic goals, future plans, and commitments of ENEMO and member organizations.
ENEMO’s guests during the General Assembly were representatives of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
