On 2 May, in the frame of ENEMO's EOM to the 2024 Municipal Elections in Hungary, Head of Mission Mr. Pierre Peytier and Media Analyst Ms.Teodora Gilic met with representatives from the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss fundamental freedoms, such as freedom of association and freedom of the press, in the context of the elections. Furthermore, representatives of both organizations exchanged views on the recent changes to the legal framework and its impact on the electoral environment, along with the media context ahead of the 09 June elections.
