Workshop on "Improving transparency in order to combat covert influences"

28. Feb. 2023.

On 20 February, ENEMO Head of Department for Democracy and Elections Pierre Peytier attended a workshop on "Improving transparency in order to combat covert influences". The event was hosted in Podgorica by the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

The event was an opportunity to discuss and share experiences on improving the resilience of democratic societies to the influence of foreign actors. This includes tackling aspects such as non-transparent campaign finance, disinformation, and raising the awareness of key stakeholders through mechanisms such as OGP (Open Government Partnership).

ENEMO would like to thank NDI for organizing the event, and for bringing together voices from civil society and experts in the field on these crucial issues.
