Belgrade, Serbia, February 28, 2022 – The Delegation of ENEMO IEOM to Serbia, led by the Head of the Mission, Mr. Pierre Peytier and Deputy Head Ms. Maja Milikic met with Mr. Zoran Stanojevic, the assistant of the chief editor of Serbian National Broadcaster RTS.

ENEMO delegates and representative of the RTS spoke about media environment during the election process. The RTS representative spoke about key challenges in work during the pre-election period, but also about RTS’s plans for covering the election process, while ENEMO representatives presented the Mission and its plans for the observations of the upcoming Presidential and Early Parliamentary Elections in Serbia.

The European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations carries out an observation mission to Serbia for the second time. ENEMO started its activities in Serbia at the beginning of February and the observation mission will stay in the country for up to few weeks after the elections.
