ENEMO Mission to Ukraine conducted virtual meeting with the representatives of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption

On 16 November, 2020, Mr. Pierre Peytier, Deputy Head of the ENEMO Mission to Ukraine 2020 for the Local Elections conducted a virtual meeting with the representatives of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

The meeting was held in the format of a Zoom conference, participants discussed the role of NAPC regarding the analysis of the financial reports of the candidates as well as the functions and legal mechanisms used by the institution. Moreover, NAPC experts shared their thoughts on the current legal problems the institution faces, ongoing challenges sparked by the recent decisions of the Constitutional Court, as well as the broader impact it had on the work of NAPS. Additionally, the experts have proposed their suggestions on the potential improvements of the reporting and oversight system.
