Belgrade, March 18th - ENEMO Head of Mission Pierre Peytier and Deputy Head of Mission Maja Milikic met with the Prime Minister Ana Brnabic. Also, Ms. Brnabic is vice president of the Serbian Progressive party that will participate in the upcoming elections. Together with the Prime Minister were members of her cabinet, but also the representatives of the Republic Electoral Commission and the Anti-corruption agency.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss pre-election process and the electoral conditions. The interlocutors discussed the implementation of new legal solutions that emerged as a result of an agreement reached within the inter-party dialogue. During the meeting, interlocutors discussed the polarization that is present in Serbian society both in the field of media and the politics.
The Prime Minister expressed her readiness and openness to support the mission in gathering all necessary information for assessing election process in Serbia.
