On 21 May, in the framework of ENEMO's EOM to the 2024 Municipal Elections in Hungary, Head of Mission Mr. Pierre Peytier and Media Analyst Ms. Teodora Gilic met with Dr. Balázs Bartóki-Gönczy, Member of the Media Council of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH).
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the regulatory role of the NMHH, the media environment in Hungary ahead of the elections, the importance of online media portals, and respect for principles of equal opportunity in media coverage especially during the electoral process.
