The European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) fielded 20 short-term observers to monitor the 2009 presidential election in Kyrgyzstan on July 23, 2009. The short-term observers from leading election monitoring groups from 11 countries observed all stages of the voting process, including the opening, the vote, the vote count and the tabulation of results in polling stations and rayon electoral commissions throughout the country. During election day, ENEMO observers visited 210 polling stations.
